Why is this insurance important to you?
When it comes to large construction projects such as airports, railway stations or oversea bridges, a comparatively small glitch such as a short circuit can cause a loss of several million RMB: Allianz with its international network and experience in large-scale projects such as Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok International Airport, China’s Ertan Dam project or the famed Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia provides principals and contractors with the insurance cover they need.
Which risks are covered?
Allianz will cover all the risks that typically occur during construction work such as
- Fire and explosion
- Flood, storm, tempest
- Thunder and lightning, hurricane, cyclone earthquake, tsunami
Besides, we will cover all sums that you as a principal or contractor may become legally liable to pay as compensation for bodily injury or property loss sustained by any third party in relation to the construction work.
General Exclusions
No cover can be provided for the following risks:
- Normal wear & tear
- Consequential loss
- War, armed conflicts, terror
- Nuclear reactions
