Allianz China General Insurance Company Ltd. will commence business on July 1, 2010.

With the approval of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission dated January 12, 2010, Allinaz Insurance Company Guangzhou Branch has successfully completed all legal formalities including the business registration procedures and has reconstituted itself as Allianz China General Insurance Company Ltd.

Allianz China General Insurance Company Ltd. is a wholly foreign owned subsidiary insurance company; 100% owned by Allianz and incorporated in the PRC. Allianz China General Insurance Company Ltd. will succeed all the assets, creditor’s rights, liabilities and business of the original Allianz Insurance Company Guangzhou Branch as of July 1, 2010.
